Well Person Care

We understand that well person care is not anyone's favorite thing to do. But, when done in a

respectful midwifery model of care style, it can be!  We offer Full Service Well Person care,

including Pap smear, Pelvic exams, Breast Exams, STD screenings and blood work.

Family Planning

You have already begun to "grow" your baby before you realize you're pregnant. Preconception

counseling can give your baby the best possible start. During our appointments together, we

offer lab work, dietary options,  and tips on tracking your most fertile times to conceive. During

your follow-up appointment we discuss your lab results and any additional questions you may

have. 

Prenatal Care

24/7 availability - We are available to answer your questions directly.  We also offer evening and

weekend appointments to accommodate your busy schedule.  Whatever option works to keep

you feeling safe and supported while you grow your baby.

We offer hour long, individualized prenatal appointments to discuss all things contributing to a healthy pregnancy. We see you monthly through 28 weeks, bi-monthly from 28 to 36 weeks, and weekly from 36 weeks until the birth of your baby.  Of course, if you need us in between those appointments we are more than happy to see you.  Obstetrical lab work and ultrasounds are also offered in your care.

Whether you’re delivering at a hospital or at home, we offer complete individualized prenatal care throughout your pregnancy.  During each appointment we provide evidence-based information and quality midwifery model of care to help you maintain a
healthy pregnancy. We discuss risks factors during pregnancy and offer education to promote wellness and help prevent complications.  We collaborate with healthcare providers, holistic practitioners, Doulas and other alternative providers to help
you achieve the birth you envision for your family. 

Birth

Water birth, home birth, childbirth how you choose and where you choose. During labor and birth

your midwife will guide you, checking in during each stage until it is time (active labor) to join you

at your home. After you give birth we will be there for several hours to make sure everyone is safe

and healthy, providing a full newborn exam, supporting you with nursing and postpartum care.  

What is almost as amazing as giving birth in the comfort of your own home, is that the only

evidence that we were ever there, is we leave you fed, in bed, and holding your little one.   

Postpartum Care Visits

We see you 24-48 hours after your birth, on day 7, 3 and 6 weeks postpartum.  If you need us

in between those appointments weare on call for you.

Lactation Consultation

Being the primary food source for your little one is a huge responsibility!  Let us help you get off to a great start. We provide breastfeeding support to all of our new parents.  If you need more extensive support we provide referrals to excellent International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC). The benefits of breastfeeding are immeasurable for both Momma and baby.  We will support you through latching, milk supply, pumping, and everything in between.  These services are not limited to our TRIBE.  Let
​us help you make feeding your little one a bit easier.

Placenta Encapsulation

The placenta is an amazing organ that is not only a life source for your baby on the inside, it is invaluable for you too. Check out Placenta Benefits Info for information on everything the placenta has to offer.  We can prepare your placenta as pills and/or a tincture.  We Pick up, encapsulate, and Deliver your encapsulated placenta.  No matter where you birth the benefits of Placenta Encapsulation are invaluable. 

Midwifery Services or Doula Services with a Midwifery Twist

If you feel more comfortable birthing in a hospital but would like to labor safely at home as long as possible going to the hospital
when it is time to push out your baby, consider our Monitrice services.  You receive midwifery style prenatal care and labor support.  This service includes - 3 prenatals, monitoring of Momma and baby during labor, labor support at your birth, and 2 postpartum care visits with lactation support. 

Childbirth Education
 
The objective of our childbirth class is to demystify the birth process.  We want you to feel comfortable enough to make informed choices no matter where you give birth.  Our affordable and intimate classes are made for those wanting a natural experience.  Our classes cover the following topics.:

• Anatomy and physiology of labor

• How best to prepare for the birth process

• Comfort measures for labor 

• Evidence-based information on medical interventions and pain medications 

• The basics of postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care
